I am honored to serve as your Assistant Principal for the class of 2029. My priority is to ensure that all students grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe and secure environment. I look forward to working with all members of our Titan family to motivate you to succeed as we continue to provide a high-quality learning experience. I feel privileged to work with such a dedicated staff who are committed to the success of every student! I believe that all students are unique individuals with the equal potential to make a positive impact on society. My goal is to instill an enthusiasm for lifelong learning and global awareness while preparing you to thrive in the twenty-first century.

Welcome Back, Class of 2028!  

I am entering my 30^th year with the School Board of Broward County and I am also a proud graduate of Broward County schools.

As you embark on your second year of high school, I hope you embrace all the new experiences and challenges that come your way. This is a time for growth and discovery, so make the most of it.

Nova High upholds a longstanding tradition of excellence in academics and extracurricular activities. More significantly, the school is committed to providing students with a broad range of opportunities for post-secondary pathways, including higher education, military service, or entry into the workforce.   Our staff is dedicated and ready to prepare you for your chosen path, but you must work just as hard as they do.  

I encourage you to commit yourself to giving your best effort daily in school and outside of school.  As a reminder, take advantage of the resources that are provided to you such as reading your Grade Level Canvas page announcements, listening to PA announcements, reading your email as often as you check social media, checking our website, and reviewing informational flyers posted around campus.  These resources will showcase numerous opportunities that will benefit you socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.

Welcome to the new school year! It is a privilege and honor to serve as your Assistant Principal. This will be my 23rd year with the Broward County School District, and I am proud to say 20 of those years were served at Nova High School.

It is my pleasure to welcome everyone back to what promises to be an exciting and productive year.  As students embark on their sophomore year, they are entering a crucial phase in their high school journey. This year is an opportunity to build on the foundation that was established, explore new interests, and continue to strive for excellence. I encourage students to take full advantage of the academic and extracurricular opportunities available.

Greetings, Titan Nation and the Class of 2026!

Now that we’ve successfully made our way through grades 9, 10, and 11, we are looking ahead to an even brighter and more exciting 12th-grade year—one that ensures every student graduates!

It is truly my honor and privilege to serve our Nova Titans and this incredible educational community. My daily actions are guided by three key principles: purpose, passion, and perseverance.

• My purpose is to support our faculty and staff in providing our students with the best education and high school experience possible—so that every Titan not only graduates, but is also prepared to pursue post-secondary opportunities.
• My passion is our students. My goal is to help each of them feel valued, respected, and championed as they grow into the best version of themselves.
• My promise is to persevere each and every day in upholding the great traditions that Nova High has long established.

I am a proud native of South Florida and a product of the School Board of Broward County, graduating from Miramar High School. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Florida State University—GO NOLES!—and later received my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. (Side note: I was born and raised a ‘Cane, so it’s also “all about the U!”)

My educational career began as a substitute teacher right here in Broward County. Over the years, I’ve served as a teacher and instructional leader before transitioning into school administration.

I look forward to continuing our partnership with students, families, and community stakeholders as we make this school year—and your final chapter at Nova—one to remember.
